Everything would be fine. Takemitchy wouldn’t die. Of course he wouldn’t die.
As he repeated this as his mantra, the door of the operating room opened and a doctor came out of it. Chifuyu straightened in his chair and waited for the man to talk. His face was impassive and he looked exhausted.
“Is it for Takemichi Hanagaki?” He looked at all of them, who nodded vehemently. “He is out of danger and will need a lot of rest.” He sighed tiredly. “Right now, the anaesthesia’s effects still have to fade away and he needs to recover from the surgery. You can see him tomorrow without a problem.”
Takemichi takes the blow to save Baji. He survives, but having talked too much he reveals the truth about the time leap to Chifuyu and Baji. They decide to help him and do their best while he recovers.
Blossoming feelings, fragile wounds, a mission to save their future selves and a menacing Kisaki will put the first division captain and vice-captain through hard times and they will have to find a perfect balance to not break out.
But at least they’re together.

Chifuyu always knew he would do anything for Baji, but after killing a man (just because he said offensive things about Baji), Chifuyu realized that his obsession was bigger than he thought. He could swear Baji and Kazutora would hate him for committing such a horrible crime, however, he finds out they are much more violent than himself.
Or an au where Chifuyu is yandere, Kazutora is a maniac and Baji is one of Bonten bosses.

“Shut up, Takemitchy,” Chifuyu says, rubbing a hand over his forehead. Takemitchy keeps looking at him like he’s waiting for Chifuyu to just up and leave, and he can’t stand it. “It’s fine. I mean, it’s not fine,” he adds when he gets an incredulous look, “and it sounds like bullshit, sure, but people who’re lying don’t sound like that. And… it may be hard to believe, but you aren’t.”
Or, Takemichi and Chifuyu discover the seven wonders of Shibuya, tend to each other's wounds, technically do not commit any crimes, and learn how to trust each other. Not necessarily in that order.
