"Abigail?" Leah approaches slowly, her drunkenness fading into a long lost concern in face of her new one. "Are you alright?"
Abigail looks up, her eyes red-rimmed and swollen. Tears streak pale cheeks, reflecting the moonlight like silver trails. Her dark makeup is smeared with grief and her black clothes blend into the night - she almost looks right at home, amongst the frigid atmosphere of those who no longer walk with the living.
"Oh, Leah," Abigail chokes out, her voice thick with sorrow. She's looking Leah's way, but not quite seeing her; too far gone to actually register who she's talking to. "I can't do it anymore, I can't take it anymore."
Leah, weary from a night at the saloon, stumbles upon a sobbing Abigail in the graveyard. And, despite her best interests, she welcomes Abigail home with her and is unexpectedly dragged into the messy life of her young charge.

"In more ways than one," came Wyll's innuendo, later, choked out around a laugh, when Karlach had mentioned this interaction. Shadowheart slaps him on the shoulder for it, but Karlach can see her, too, hiding a smile at the joke. But that comment, those other ways... they stick in her mind, on a loop, over and over again.
Karlach laughed too.
Laughed her way into lying awake later that night, watching from her open tent as Minthara potters around outside her own in the middle of the night.

"How much for those two?"
With a wave of her hand, Minthara gestures lazily towards the hallway where the two guards have resumed their posts. At becoming the topic of conversation, they both turn curiously to look into the room - and, upon seeing the hostess glaring at them, promptly remove their gazes once more.
"They are guards, Mistress. Not whores. I'm sure we have others to your liking--"
"I did not ask if they are whores, child. I asked how much."
Minthara has some time before she has to meet with her conspirators, and pays a visit to a popular establishment.

"Take off your clothes and stand here."
It's an order, not a request. Minthara sits back in her seat once she's given it, and waits for compliance. As she does so, projecting a bored countenance, she reaches up to start tugging her tie loose - it and her hat both finding spots on the bar top. She's not waiting long, the barmaid grinning and sliding from her stool to do as told and granting her the delightful sight of that toned body being put on display for her.
"Good, you can follow an instruction. That will make this more enjoyable for us both."
Minthara rides into town looking for a little distraction from her work, and finds herself enraptured by the pretty barmaid at the local watering hole.

"Is this seat taken?"
Turning to meet the voice, Karlach chokes on air, the mystery of the uproar by the door suddenly solved - Minthara done up to the nines, donning a skimpy red dress that shows off a lot of her. Immediately, Karlach recognises the dress as one Minthara had picked up on their date to the market a few weeks ago - the peddler doing his best to hard sell it to Karlach first, holding the shade up to her matching red skin.
"Absolutely it is," Karlach grins, turning to look over Minthara openly. "Took you long enough," she jokes, standing to pull out the chair next to her for Minthara to sit down on.
Minthara invites Karlach out for a date, a game of pretend, and fake identities.

Summary
As she follows her hands on their pathway down, Minthara lifts up from her spot still sitting on Karlach to begin to shift further down her legs, listening to Karlach's humming.
The humming that is broken, briefly, by a low laugh - her only warning, before she's met once again by the fluttering sensation of Karlach's tail hiking up to catch her, pressing up between her naked thighs. It's not enough to be considered insisting - instead, Minthara's own motions drawing her unexpectedly across the ridges that mark the length of it as she had been caught mid-movement.
Freezing in her kneeled position, Minthara allows Karlach to wriggle her tail gently against her for a moment. It's far from an unpleasant feeling, if a little strange, and her eyes slide shut as she allows it to happen.
"Want me to stop?" Karlach grins, everything about her saying, quite clearly, that she knows Minthara's enjoying it.
"No," Minthara says, all bark.

Caitlyn laughs, shaking her head and peering at Vi over her knees. "I see your almost-death hasn't done much to make you more humble."
Vi goes to reply, and is cut off by a shiver wracking her body. That heat, that ache... it's not going away, pulsing over her in another wave that has her instinctively reaching out towards Caitlyn.
Caitlyn has her hands full, quite literally, when Vi decides the best time to go into a rut is while she's bleeding out in her old childhood home.

The first to disappear were, unsurprisingly, Aylin and Isobel. Shadowheart had gone off to relieve herself, and returned to find them both absent from where they had been just previously conversing with Halsin and Jaheira.
Suspicious, certainly - but nothing in comparison to the sudden silence of Gale and Astarion's departures. One moment, they'd been arguing off somewhere towards the arse end of camp; the next, they were gone without a trace.
The last straw, however, was her turning to investigate rustling off by her side about an hour later, only to spy Minthara tugging Karlach into the trees by the hand.
In no world, would she be the only one in camp not getting any tonight, looking around for her usual go-to target - Lae'zel loitering around her damned grindstone, looking very much like she's about to start it up again. Deciding to save everyone that horrid fate, and to get her own way in sheer coincidence, Shadowheart beelines for her. Not breaking stride, she passes Lae'zel by and hooks a finger into the straps by her shoulder, tugging them both into her gith's tent.
With any luck, someone definitely saw them.

Karlach smiles, heartbroken. "It's not happy talk."

First dates are difficult at the best of times, even without fighting for your life everyday and all that it entails, all that it takes from you.
Fortunately, Karlach has never been much of a believer in bad timings, only bad outcomes. Like she knows better than most - they could all be dead come morning.

Lae'zel doesn't pay compliments easily, and Shadowheart takes a little too much to heart sometimes.

After the recall, agents had been trickling in slowly to the ol' HQ in Gibraltar - hesitantly awaiting the day when someone shows up to attempt to ruin the fun. Most, unsurprisingly, are familiar faces that have never quite managed to leave the fight behind them; others, have less obvious purposes in their appearances.
"Hey, Lena..?"
"Hmmph?" Lena intones, distractedly turning her body towards Fareeha. She doesn't look up from texting. "What is it?"
Fareeha rubs nervously at her neck, uncertain. "Do you think... Angela and Moira ever..?"
"Oh, definitely!"
Fareeha really should stop asking questions, considering she never likes the answers.
