Summary
Just found this on my computer. This is an alternative scene I wrote for 'It was you all along' in which Hop hadn't 'died' at Starcourt.
Steve comes to ask him to be his 'adult who gives a shit' in line with the deal he and his mates had in the original story. Hop all but calls him an idiot for not knowing he views him as a son.

Summary
Eddie and Chrissy have known they were mates since Eddie presented at Sixteen. It has been four years, and they still haven't found their omega to complete their triad.
Steve presented as an omega late in life, stress is said to do that to a person, and with the upside down and his parents A+ parenting, it comes to no surprise. But his late presentation has left him feeling hopeless that he'll ever find his mates.
They discover each other, entirely by accident, when Dustin forgot his coat in a cold snap and had to wear Steve's to school.

He runs until he cant any more and he collapses in tears at the side of the road. Luckily, Eddie finds him and helps him pick up the pieces, reminding him that he is loved.

Arthur and Eames take a job. Whilst Eames tails their mark, Arthur meets up with the rest of the team. It's all going well until their Extractor, Jesse, discovers Arthur is a submissive. Despite having worked with Arthur before, the man starts acting as though the sub doesn't know how to take care of himself- driving Arthur to extreme irritation and too much coffee.
