Well, it's not like he was planning on sleeping anytime soon, so may as well go see what's up.
He was not expecting to find a patrol of troopers in desperate need of help, and he definitely was not expecting to go haring off with a trooper who hadn't even been on Geonosis in pursuit of slavers through the Coruscant underbelly.
At least the Shiny seems to be enjoying it?

Anakin Skywalker, like all people, is two halves of two different beings together. Unlike all other people, Anakin is half Shmi Skywalker, and half Force. It works anyway.
Until his body is given enough raw organic material to replace the raw power holding him together from (a) superior source(s). Namely, the genetically enhanced super soldiers who call themselves the Vod'e An.
The consequences are far reaching, but Anakin and his men are just trying their best to stay alive...and maybe meet each other in the middle to stay together.

Jim pretty much instantly regrets calling the burly Cadet “Cupcake”, because the unanticipated punch to the nose results in him going flying backwards straight into the bar. Where he summarily cracks the back of his skull so hard on the roughened edge, his skull fractures and he gets to experience precisely and intimately what death by blunt force trauma feels like. Again.
And because the universe apparently hates him extra special today, he also gets to wake up to find a horrified Starfleet Captain peering down at him, bits of Jim’s brain and blood smeared all over his hands. Honestly, being immortal is enough of a pain in the arse without the added drama of being caught pulling his resurrection act red handed.

“Not a party,” Six year old Momo says immediately, frowning at him. She’s not that dumb! But, “I never knew what a kidnapping was like. Aren’t you scared?”
“Scared!?” Katsuki asks, clearly surprised, “Why would I be scared? I’m gonna be the best hero ever when I grow up, and these are just tests!”
(Or, it's a well known fact amongst hero students that it's normal to get kidnapped. You just have to escape on your own.

“What happened this time?” Yamada says, already reaching up to cover his eyes, as if that could hide him from the horror that is this part of the school year.

Her mouth drops open. It is quite a wonder she forgot this, the biggest event of Shouta’s hero course. It’s technically an event with 1-B too, but Vlad King doesn’t take it as far as Shouta does. Coward.
