Summary
Following the death of one of her best friends in an accident she feels she caused, Annie isolates herself from those closest to her until her agreement to help her friend, Armin, move into his new apartment finally forces her out of her solitude.
But whilst helping him unpack, she encounters something she hadn’t expected: a large box of BDSM-related sex toys. Even though they agree to never speak of it again, she can’t get it off her mind, so she eventually goes to him with a proposition: a friends with benefits relationship.
However, the more they sleep together, the more the lines between friends and lovers blur, leaving Annie to grapple with their newfound connection whilst still processing her grief.

Summary
Annie has had trouble sleeping for as long as she can remember, but in the days following the Rumbling, it becomes the worst it’s ever been. After a night when she accidentally falls asleep in Armin’s tent without a single nightmare, they come to an agreement where she can share his tent for a better night’s rest.
Their unusual arrangement works for a while, but when they have to travel south to attend a meeting in southern Marley, they are forced to share not only a room, but a bed. Sleeping next to each other on a cold tent floor was doable, but something about sharing a bed causes more tension between them than Annie had anticipated.
