Summary
After the events of season 2, Alastor carries Vox’s decapitated body back to the hotel and grows rather fond of it. He takes good care of it, cleans it, dresses it in better clothes, and decides that it deserves a head, so he grabs an old CRT monitor and doesn’t quite manage to attach all the wires correctly and it’s almost like having Vincent back.
Vox’s consciousness gets sucked into his newly whole body and he's less than thrilled to realise that he cannot move an inch thanks to Alastor’s shoddy wiring job. The irony of him now being The Radio Demon’s prisoner is not lost on him, so he decides to keep quiet until he can find a way to escape. Easier said than done.
Alastor realises that Vox is actually in the room with him, which he thinks is hilarious until he doesn’t. Suddenly, they’re talking about the past and why it all went wrong and Alastor finds himself hoping for a second chance with the man he cares about more than he’d like to admit.

Summary
A bar rejection re-write. Alastor and Vox come to an agreement. Partners by day, dog and master by night. The ‘partners’ part of the agreement never seems to happen, but Alastor’s growing fondness and possessiveness over his dog and Vox’s obsessive devotion are keeping the relationship afloat, for now.
