When he was young, just to win a bet with Thor, Loki gave sperm. It was just once and he had since forgotten all about it. Fifteen years later, when he meets the woman of his dreams, babies are the last thing on his mind.
At 35 years old and after a string of failed relationships, Sylvie decides to have a baby on her own. It all goes as planned, until she meets Loki. He’s annoying, but also quite perfect. He also doesn’t know that she’s pregnant, and there’s no way he would want anything to do with her under these circumstances.

Summary
She had met Thor two years earlier at her first adult jiu jitsu class. He invited her for coffee and she agreed mainly because no one so attractive had ever tried to date her before, and she felt pleasantly tickled. She quickly realized that nothing would come of it, because they didn't fit together at all, but that didn't stop her from having a great time. He apparently understood it too, but he didn't care about it. From then on, they would go out to eat together after classes from time to time and tell each other about their love conquests.
She had never met any of his family or friends, just as he had never met hers. She knew she had a younger brother around her age and a tight-knit group of friends from work, but that was all.
And now he had invited her to his thirtieth birthday party.Poor Loki is deaf in this fic.
