A Yautja is on earth hunting in the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina. He eventually finds worthy prey and something else he didn't expect. How will this affect his clan and what will he and his mate learn from this strange young creature he found in the mist.

When Alastor first agreed to date the television overlord, it was purely for his own amusement. He wanted to see how long it would take Vox to cross boundaries and prove his belief that the overzealous demon couldn’t survive without physical intimacy. Once that happened, Alastor could finally end things—maybe even kill him for the trouble.
At least, that had been the plan.
But now, as they approached their 10-year anniversary, Vox had yet to touch Alastor without explicit verbal permission— never exceeding more than hand-holding—let alone ask for anything intimate. Not even a kiss. It baffled Alastor. The demon, known for his arrogance and power, had shown nothing but restraint.
