Summary
These stories are not about love at first sight, nor are they interested in easy answers. I am attempting to write a psychological horror narrative about identity under pressure, about what happens when certainty begins to fail, and to ask: "How can someone so determined in their ways begin to justify their changes in themselves?" For both Michael and Laurie, that's a tough question.
Michael Myers believes himself incapable of sentiment like humans are, bound only to pattern and inevitability. He killed his sister after all, and yet... why can't he stop excusing it and just kill Laurie?
Laurie Strode believes survival must not cost her humanity, even as the world proves that restraint, connection, and mercy carry their own consequences.
