It was hard for Juntae to match the image in his mind of Go Hyuntak—a round face, wide eyed boy who came just up to Juntae’s shoulders—to the man who was standing in front of him now.
Go Hyuntak had broad shoulders, thick arms, and a fucking handsome face. Plus, he was tall—nearly a head taller than Juntae. He didn’t notice before, since all the players on the court were the same size. He had to tilt his head up to talk to him.

Izuku paused, did he know this person? The man’s voice was low, not one Izuku could fully remember, but he had a small tinge of familiarity that flickered in his mind.
“Hello? Who’s this?” He asked, voice low. He didn’t want to worry any of his classmates, so he decided to stay at least a little silent before hanging up on the person if this was some kind of prank.
The man laughed, it wasn’t mocking or anything, but it still sent a shiver down Izuku’s spine. As if his body remembered, but his mind didn’t. “It’s me, my son.”
Time stopped, Izuku’s breath hitched.

He approached slowly, as if he didn't fear rejection, until he was so close that Keeho could feel the cold emanating from his skin. That cold ran down his spine like an echo of something he had tried to forget: a fierce, dangerous heat that beat underneath, ready to explode if he let him get any closer.
Keeho clenched his jaw. He had seen how the angel, fragile and lost, could transform into something impossible to contain. He knew that his closeness could open the same invisible rift that, long ago, had consumed everything around him. And yet, there he was, trembling under the gaze of the angel who loved him in the only way he knew how: without measure, without understanding limits.
