"Puffer?" Droid's voice sounded much smaller compared to when he had first set out to find him.
"Droid." Puffer's voice cracked, his breath coming out slightly ragged. "Why are you here?"
"So you're Puffer," Droid concluded, and Puffer raised an eyebrow at that. "Sorry. I don't remember you that much, if at all."
"That doesn't matter," Puffer hissed. "All three of you are in my way right now, and so the only thing left for me to do is to kill you."
Droid hasn't seen Puffer in a long, long time. Too long, to the point where "the Incident" has already wiped his memory of him entirely. It's uncanny, and things only get worse when Grizzy barges into his and Pezzy's home and begs for them to save Puffer from something beyond explanation.
It's only when they arrive to the fight that Droid and Pezzy both find that Puffer messed with things he shouldn't have.
