So, what do I get out of filling your line so you can throw balls to each other.”

Neil gets a head injury that changes his mental stability. He is put on antipsychotic that causes him to become numb. After the Foxes recruit Neil's teammate in Milport and he's at the right place at the right time, he signs as well.

The adventure was always going to change lives, certainly that of the lone Hobbit, but never as drastic as they were led to believe as they set off towards their destiny on that beautiful horizon. Thorin Oakenshield would never again doubt the courage of the Hobbit he had entrusted the safety of his people's future on, nor would he doubt the feelings settled in his heart.

It was a secret to anyone outside the Shire that Bungo Baggins wasn't called Bungo when he was born and isn't even a Hobbit. He was actually Frerin who, after the war in Moria, ran away from the others because he couldn't take any more war and suffering, as well as the weight of being Prince of the Dwarves. He was wounded and met Belladonna in the forest and told her his story. Belladonna invited him to come to the Shire and recover. But during his healing at the House of the Baggins Family, Frerin found peace and acceptance, and when the Baggins asked to adopt him, Frerin accepted and became Bungo Baggins. And Frerin fell in love with Belladona and when he proposed, he said that Dwarves only love once and so she was his One. And Belladona accepted his love, and loved him back with all her heart. And they married, he built the house as a courting gift for her. And they had a daughter, Bluebonnet, called Blue because of her blue eyes from the Durin Lineage. And that makes the mission completely different, especially for Fili who discovers that Bluebonnet is her One.

It was a well-known truth that Hobbits, especially those of the most respectable families, did not leave the Shire. And why would they ever wish to? Everything they needed was within the safe and comfortable boundaries. Life in the Shire was peaceful and full of joy; as the only needs of a Hobbit are good food, good company, and good ale. Any outsiders who ventured into the Shire, whether passing through or for trade, were looked at with little welcome and quite a bit of suspicion.
So, on the rare occasion that a Hobbit expressed their wishes to venture beyond the safety of the Shire or, Lady Yavanna forbid, actually do so, they would be considered to be more than a little mad and not at all a respectable sort. And all the habitants of the Shire knew that there was no Hobbit madder and completely unrespectable than Belladonna Took.
That is, until her daughter, Bluebell Baggins left the Shire – with little more than a quickly scrawled note leaving Bag End to her cousin Drogo – in the company of Dwarves.Chroí is irish for heart btw. I love the idea of hobbits being a lot like the Irish - after all we have a lot in common!

Bluebell Baggins was a very respectable hobbit. She tended to her smial well and her garden won awards every year. She kept to herself but was hospitable when needed. Primed and poised, she was always ready to entertain, and you would never find her pantry empty. By all accounts, Bluebell was the epitome of a perfect hobbit. Except, she wasn’t a hobbit at all. She was a star, having fallen from the heavens above. No one ever spoke of it, at least not in polite company. It was whispered when there was beer to loosen lips and pipe weed was shared among neighbors.
Thorin's on a quest and somehow Bluebell gets dragged into it. She blames Gandalf.
