His two new coworkers, however...
AU in which Owen and Legs both survive VSMP and join Abolish in the shadow organisation. Neither are coping with working with the other in a remotely normal fashion.

“Turn him. You offered the doctor your Gift… what? Twice? Thrice? It’s time to make good on that.”
Owen can’t help the way his treacherous, dead heart flips. It’s true that he’d offered… but Legs had always refused. He didn’t *want* Owen’s gift. He didn’t deserve it. Owen ruthlessly squashes the tiny worm of hope and shakes his head, putting ice into his voice when he replies..
“I’m not playing your games, Goldsmith. Find another monkey to dance to your tune.”

Summary
Almost two centuries after the events of Vampires SMP, the surviving vampires gather in Oakhurst to mourn and commemorate their fallen friends. Joining them are five humans who are eerily familiar--including one who kickstarts the beacons and locks them all in again.
Can the newcomers trust these people who are intertwined in their returning memories and who seem overly invested in their lives? Can the vampires escape Oakhurst without losing anyone else? And what the hell happened to Avid?

Summary
Ever since Legundo was young, he saw ghosts. He never said anything, but does what he can to help them move on. He liked to think he was good at it too. Then war came knocking on his doorstep, afterwards, he was never the same. Now, he is in Oakhurst, determined to help the people he's found himself in the company of. One of those being Owen-the lumberjack that has taken to staying far away everyone. Save for a haunting specter that has attached itself to the man.
Can Legundo help both ghost and man move forward? Or has he finally gotten in over his head?
