Summary
Jackie really wasn’t much different from other girls in her grade. She follows the latest fashion trends, follows up on the newest gossip, and even has a handsome boyfriend. So really, truly, Jackie wasn’t much different from the girls in her grade, at least on the surface. Jackie tries to ignore her big, massive problem that can’t seem to go away since it looms over her like a constant shadow and seemingly always finds a way to steadily crawl into her life and inconvenience her. Her inconvenience just so happens to emerge in the full moon's light. For most, the full moon isn’t much, but for Jackie, it’s the thing she plans her entire schedule around as well as dreads the most. Since, yeah, Jackie lied, she isn’t like most girls by a long shot. Summary
The sight of Abby makes her sick, and she is ready to bolt. At the same time, it’s not the anger and rage she had felt for the past three years. It’s just anguish. It’s just Joel’s face flashing behind her eyes. His old, wrinkly face pulled in a smirk. Half of his face is gone as he lies dead on a concrete floor, and Ellie tries to wake him up like he’s not missing half of his brain. She’s just tired.
The girl stares at her like she’s unsure of what she sees. Then, something wakes up in her as she scrambles to her feet and grabs a handgun from her pants.
“Fucking hell, I’m not going to fucking kill you,” Ellie mutters, observing how Abby hesitates whether to raise the gun or not. “I just saved you,” she adds.
“You didn’t know you were saving me .” The voice takes her back to Seattle. No. No. She can’t think about that. It’s in the past. It already happened.
“I knew.”
or Ellie and Abby's paths cross again after Santa Barbara as they are trying to live and move on from the horrors they inflicted on each other.

“Huh?” Adora felt her cheeks flushing red as she tore her gaze away from the girl and turned to whoever had spoken. “Sorry, were you talking to me?”
The gorgeous girl strutted past them without a single glance, like she was totally oblivious to how much the world seemed to want her. The girl who had spoken to her followed the other girls down the hallway with her gaze. An intense wave of dislike seemed to emanate from her.
“Satan,” the girl repeated, nodding down the hallway once the other girls turned the corner, “Catrina Driluth, but everyone just calls her Catra. Head cheerleader. All the girls want to be her, all the guys want to fuck her, and she’s completely fucking evil from head to toe.”'
Or, Catra is the bitchy head cheerleader and Adora is the socially awkward new girl. What could go wrong?
