Summary
The All-Blades are in his hands without conscious thought, bursting to life in his grip. Their fire sparks and catches something that somehow wasn’t already burning. Too-close flames bloom in his periphery and a new wave of heat washes over his face. He’s already flushed all over, first degree burns just from proximity.
He sweeps the blades at the figure moving through the smoke. The figure yelps and springs back too late, but the blades pass right through them, fire through smoke.
Not what he’s after.
Or:
Apparently the All-Blades can drag Jason across dimensions.

What It Means
Spindrift refers to spray blown from waves during a gale or to fine wind-borne snow or sand.

Summary
“I’d been wondering when I’d finally get to meet Gotham’s infamous crime lord. Guess tonight’s my lucky night,” Dick greets, calm and casual as anything.
Jason grits his teeth. “If having a gun pointed at you is what you consider a lucky night, then sure,” Jason drawls.
Dick smirks at him. “Haven’t shot me yet,” he quips and his smirk rises into a full blown smile.
“Yet,” Jason agrees with a sneer.Bookmarked by OhIRememberYou

Summary
“Step away from him,” Nightwing demands.
“The note said I’d return him if the Batman made it before the timer ended,” the woman says. She pulls a pocket watch from her suit and holds it up. Nightwing can’t make out the numbers with the distance, but his gut wrenches anyway. “And he’s not here.”
Or, Jason, as Robin, ends up in another hostage situation. Nightwing steps in.
