Summary
The All-Blades are in his hands without conscious thought, bursting to life in his grip. Their fire sparks and catches something that somehow wasn’t already burning. Too-close flames bloom in his periphery and a new wave of heat washes over his face. He’s already flushed all over, first degree burns just from proximity.
He sweeps the blades at the figure moving through the smoke. The figure yelps and springs back too late, but the blades pass right through them, fire through smoke.
Not what he’s after.

Apparently the All-Blades can drag Jason across dimensions.

“Fine,” Dick says, pushing down the hurt and pasting on a grin. “See you around, Tim. Don’t let our brother bleed out. After all, as he’s so sparingly mentioned, he just got back.” He means it as a joke.
Jason is in his face in an instant. Even through the helmet, Dick can tell he’s pissed. “Hear me one more time, Dickface,” he says slowly, drawing out the words with calculated precision, “You are not my brother. Not anymore."

“What am I missing?” Jason asked, his brow furrowing and letting annoyance creep into his tone. He didn’t care for his father’s mind games.
“Jay, lad,” Bruce began, quietly, and Jason wanted nothing more than for his father to just spit it out. His hand twitched, as though he wanted to take Jason’s, or maybe put a reassuring hand on his shoulder like he used to. He didn’t.
Jason wasn’t sure whether he was glad or disappointed.
“What?” He exclaimed with a huff, falling back onto his pillow to glare at the ceiling. “It can’t be that bad.”
The silence that followed only served to unsettle him more.
“When you were injured, it was as a civilian.”
Or alternatively; Jason wakes up in the hospital after an accident, the doctors have identified him as the long lost son of Bruce Wayne, and he's forced to not only figure out how to navigate his (very public) personal life, but also the broken relationship with his father.

A scream that should have blown the speaker apart cut off the last syllable, and Jason pressed the power button. But the screams didn’t stop because they were happening in real time. There was someone, still alive, close enough for him to reach them before it was too late.
The splashing almost drowned out the screams as his boots churned up stagnant water and he moved forward almost blindly. The screams turned into hysterical sobs, and Jason thought: Hang on, please hang on.
And then the laughter drowned out everything else."
