Most people simped for the top heroes, the good looking ones. Hawks, Mirko, Midnight, All Might, Endeavor, etc. He just didn't fit that list. But he didn't mind. He was content with his life, and love wasnt his top priority.

When a skeleton with a hole in his skull comes to drown his burdens at Grillby, he gets shown some long overdue kindness. Them some racists show up.An epic takedown by the singer with just herself, a big ass dog, and a whip take them down, but get her hurt. So he returns the favor.
Soon, she has the friendship of the whole gang. Maybe more. But what will the light counterparts think?
