Deep in the forests and far removed from any traces of civilization, lives an elf. Fiachra spends his days surrounded by the mysterious fae of the woods, vigilant in protecting his peaceful region. He's long preferred life this way.
High in the mountains is an elven citadel and there lives a master alchemist. Belenus has pushed everyone away in preference for his studies. Propelled by the pursuit of experiment, he ventures into the far reaches of the forest for ingredients.
When their paths cross, their respective ways of life are utterly disrupted by an unplanned and one-sided deal. The results of which, weave their lives together and spiral beyond any direction either ever intended.
