By 8am, he’d usually had a message from the other, making sure he’d gotten to work on time and nothing had happened that he should be concerned about. By 8am, he’d have a text or a voice message from Jonghyun, wishing a sleepy good morning and a request for coffee when Minhyun got home. By 9:30am, he usually had a text from Aaron, wishing him a good morning and explaining what time he was going to be back, or anything interesting that had happened to him that morning. Mingi’s text usually came last, around 12 noon when Minhyun’s shift was over halfway done, when he was in the homeward stretch, giving him updates on the school day, accompanied with a funny story or two of something his very young students had said to him.
But he hadn’t heard anything from Jonghyun. A single missed text shouldn’t have been enough to fill Minhyun with so much dread. But it was.

Warm fingers trailed his collar, then up his neck to his hair. “Your hair’s wet.” Then, Bakugou gasped. “You idiot. You actual idiot. Holy shit. We have to get you warmed up.”
Bakugou pulled Deku into his bed with a bit of urgency, pulling the covers over him. Yanking his shirt off, he then snatched Deku to his bare chest, and Deku really liked where things were headed.
“C’mon, you’re fine.” His chest vibrated as he spoke. His hands ran all over Deku’s body, hastily slipping under his sweater to try and warm up his skin. “Why’re you breathing like that?”
“Like what?” It kind of felt like there were bees buzzing in his chest. Wouldn’t that be funny?
“You’re scaring me.”
Huh, that was different. Bakugou didn’t get scared, and if he did, he never said it. Why was Deku scaring him? He didn’t want to upset him.

The quiet droning of Aizawa's calming voice stops before starting again, but this time Izuku is able to understand what he's saying, although it takes him a moment to process, "What doesn't?"
He shrugs, "Everything."'
