Summary
Instead of Vash breaking free and fighting Knives in their decisive battle at the end of Trigun Stampede, Vash disconnects and stays comatose.
After the lab crashes near a base, Knives tries to reach Vash through his mind only to find that, although the insemination of the Plants was unsuccessful, the memory manipulation was.
Knives has a second chance to mold his beloved twin into the “perfect” Plant, but a certain blue-haired zealot finds himself consumed with jealousy while Meryl and Wolfwood work to find a way to save Vash from his new life.

Summary
In an alternative universe where Anakin struck down Palpatine, Padme still dies in childbirth. Left alone as a single father raising two feisty twins, Anakin has been in therapy to try and help him after a mental health crisis back when his children were toddlers.
Today was supposed to be a wonderful day! The day prior to his twins’ 18th birthday! A night with his immediate family of Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and his children. But everything is turned upside down when Leia arrives with a very much unwelcome and unexpected guest: Han Solo.
Now, Anakin has to deal with his daughter’s “bodyguard” and his precious son’s interest in him as a pilot of an unconventional ship.
Can he make it to the next day? And if so, what other changes in his routine will set him off?
But more concerning than anything is the dark dragon hissing just below the surface

"Do you really think introducing a breeder to that tank is a good idea? Millions Knives is highly dangerous and incredibly territorial," she sighed, watching as the older man kicked his feet up onto the coffee table of the staff lounge.
"Newbie, you don't know this place like I do. I've seen every outcome introducing mers to each other can yield, good and bloody. I've got the scars from managing it. Trust me when I say, that fish ain't half as mean as he seems. Stick the shark in there, give it some time, and he won't be at the top of the food chain."
"But is that a good idea? They're critically endangered," she emphasized as he lit up a cigarette.
"Nobody's seen a lionfish species in centuries, and now we got two in our lap. One of which is very sociable. The only compatible breeder is the shark," he explained before taking a long drag and puffing out the smoke. "Besides, he's the only one that brute might not kill if Typhoon likes him."

What if humanity managed to create the Plants before the earth was past the point of no return? With the creation of plants in the 20th century humanity wasn't forced to find a new home among the stars just yet, plants were used to try and sustain life on earth. And so, two hundred years later a set of independent plant twins were born in the SEEDS HQ on earth and forced to grow up under careful observation. Will they ever get to see the outside world and know freedom, or are they doomed to be little more than lab rats? Growing up and taking strides the twins work to find where their home belongs and where they fit in among humanity.

He pulled. "Or: Millions Knives messes up the opening of the Gates and brings someone new into Stampede universe, inadvertently changing the fate of the world and his own for the better. Well, maybe. Eventually...
He isn't going down that easily, though.
