Of course it was. If he hadn't been so stupid, if he had listened to Tony instead of arguing with him, then he wouldn't have been in that situation. Trusting Beck. If he hadn't been so stubborn, he's sure Tony and Miss Potts would've sorted it out, hidden his identity away. But instead he acted irrationally, and now look at where that got him. In some dingy old alleyway.

Annabeth never expected Percy to die, but someone has to tell the family, so wracked with grief Annabeth goes to Gotham. Percy was 10 when his mother and step dad died in a accident in there apparent leaving him with the Wayne’s. They obviously loved Percy so how was Annabeth going to tell them that he died and in Tartarus none the less.
Percy was 17 when he went to Tartarus, 17 when he died, and 17 when he woke up in a mysterious green sludge back in his home town.
