Summary
The Pirate Code doesn't expressly command its adherents to repay debts that bridge life and death, but the Code is more of a set of guidelines, anyway. Sparrow/Norrington, set after At World's End, ignores all films released thereafter.

Working under RED can be repetitive at times - but nothing like this.
After a curse is fired his way, Scout is forced to live through the same day over and over and over again.
It should be easy for someone as perfect as Scout to break the curse, right?
As long as he doesn't have to confront the things he's been feeling towards Sniper it should be a piece of cake!

Summary
“As your gestalt, the Constructicons have also signed themselves on board as under your oversight. I believe they said that you were their foreman, and ensured Rodimus and… Megatron that they would behave,” Ultra Magnus told Prowl, having comm’d him as he shoved what little he had in the way of possessions into his subspace, preparing to board the Lost Light later that day. He paused.

Just discovered Prowl/Constructicons through this fic and i am head over heels already. Time for me to scour Ao3 for more. What has this story done to me.
It follows IDW canon, so some familiarity is recommended. Going in blind has to be fucking hilarious though, if you don't mind spoilers.

Summary
Mirage could go back to prison. He doesn't need to become Thundercracker's concubine or share quarters with Starscream and Skywarp as a decorative kept-mech. He doesn't have to do a Primus-damned thing to help the Seekers save the life of their sparkling.
He doesn't have to, but he will.

Review for up to Chapter 50
The plot: Mirage surrenders after the 'Cons (basically) won the war and control Cybertron. Through some medical handwaving (which seems to run deeper than that as the story progresses..) he's the only candidate whose spark is viable to support the Command Trine's sick Sparkling. Cue a somewhat uncomfortable parole agreement and Trine drama/angst. The Autobots that haven't surrendered remain at large.
There is some great linguistic stuff in here. Gives the impresson that the characters are talking in their own language and nuances and double meanings get somewhat lost in translation and are explained in the text. It makes the world feel a lot richer if that makes sense.
The big themes of this story, if i had to name them, are class and the societal, as well as political challenges that come with an armistice following a millenia-long war. The 'Cons won and Cybertron is theirs. What do you do with Neutrals and Autobots that want to return to their home? How to ensure a smooth regime change? How do you adapt to a life that isn't defined by violent conflict? This lil segment really hit the nail on the head:
“You need everyone to see the High Command committed to civilian life, and you can't do it.” Mirage could not bring himself to meet Soundwave's gaze though he could feel the heated weight of it. “You need us for the peace to hold. Or some warlord who's been nominally 'Con during the long silence will think this a feint, or worse a weakness and will move against Megatron.”
“Affirmative.” The Communications Chief, the Head of Intelligence, the loyalest Loyalist, the old comrade from the Pits of Kaon, spoke as though the glyph was treason.
The topic felt very..somber i'd say. It's a weird feeling i struggle to put into words, you'd have to read it yourself.
To the part about class: I can't say i really enjoy it when stories go into detail about etiquette and weird social expectations of the elite. To me, it is kind of stuffy at best and painfully boring at worst. I thought it was fine in this story. It serves a purpose and, while ever-present, doesn't overstay its welcome by going on and on and on with explanations. The offending parts are short, sweet and most of all, further either plot or Mirage's characterisation. I can't even find someting to complain about, really. That is to say, if you are into said weird social etiquettes of rich people, this story might be crack cocaine to you. Just saying.
What i can add, however, is that the story withholds narrative judgement on if these traditions are a good or bad thing and lets you decide for yourself. That's very refreshing.
I am excited for more, this story has me thoroughly hooked.
