A compendium of tales from Ewell. There is no particular order to the series, each one is a short story based on my main novel Living on Borrowed Time (which, as such, should be read first), ranging in time from before the story is set to after. After I have uploaded the final chapter of my main project, I will release more short stories into this series to keep the lives of these fascinating people going.

Summary
Being "The Captain" meant Teddy had to be anyone but himself; he had to maintain that stiff upper lip, resist blabbering on endlessly about tanks and maintain full focus. This is what he needed to do to survive. To not get caught.
He was doing a marvellous job of this, he hadn't shown a drop of emotion since the Great War ended. A certain Lieutenant, however, changed this indefinitely.

Summary
In which the ghosts are finally sucked off and arrive in the afterlife (some would call it 'heaven').
They adapt together to a modern lifestyle where they can make use of technology and move around as they please. There are reunions to be had with those who've been there a while, but best of all: they can eat again!
