“Fuck yeah,” Eddie said before he could stop himself. His face got hot. Shit, that sounded way too eager, a totally excessive level of enthusiasm just for meeting another gay metalhead. He had given himself away as a clueless virgin, and Nick was going to stop smiling, walk away, and find someone with the ability to maintain his cool for the length of half a conversation.
But Nick didn’t stop smiling. Instead he said, “I know you just got a drink, but do you want to get out of here?”

But now, here, there’s no reputation, no preconceived notions. He’s just Eddie. Eddie with the thousand-watt smile, Eddie with the long brown hair and the biggest, darkest eyes. Eddie who talks not only with his hands but with his whole body, who imbues so much energy into whatever space he occupies. It makes total sense, here and now, that he’s getting so much attention. He’d never really thought about Eddie Munson in bed before, but once the thought had been planted, especially a thought of that nature, Steve’s imagination, however slow to start, didn’t really stop… imagining.
Which was really quite a problem when they were just becoming friends.(featuring: eight pages of possibly the best smut i've ever written, a really quite unecessary plot development about bisexuality being a real sexuality that might be directed at the author's father, and a lot of focus on Eddie Munson's eyes)
