I haven't gotten over the epilogue, evidently... And while I know some of the political stances of the author are just as dubious, it feels like he tried to give a message of “unity” that wasn't conveyed well in the end by the cheer bs he allowed our “heroes” to get away with and be congratulated for (goddamnit, Eren). This series is NOT meant to dunk on the manga, but instead to let me understand where the characters might be mentally after the time skip. (With a few creative liberties... And Jearmin)
