Summary
Dean Winchester is stuck.
After losing his father and closing the family garage, he’s been drifting, half-living in a run-down house, working odd jobs, occasionally fixing old cars for the neighbours, mostly keeping to himself. When Sam suggests a guided walking trip to get him out of his slump, Dean is reluctantly thrown into the orbit of Castiel Novak.
Castiel is a classics professor turned quiet recluse after a painful divorce.
They meet at the starting point of a weeks-long walking route, part of a small group tour. Both signed up to get away from their lives, but neither expected to find each other.

Summary
James "Bucky" Barnes is a homeless veteran with a dark past. He's accepted to a six-month shelter program meant to help veterans get back on their feet, and he has his work cut out for him. He needs to find a job, save up money, and hopefully get his own place, but he keeps getting sidetracked by his attraction to Steve Rogers, one of the therapists in the program.
Steve is kind, smart, funny, and clearly in a relationship... but Bucky can't help feeling that Steve is interested in him too.
More issues arise when Bucky's past deeds begin to impact his future and the things he wants aren't something he feels he deserves.
Can he begin to heal himself so he can finally live?

The guy on stage is beautiful, his cheekbones high and his face angular in a way that Steve doesn’t often see outside of high-fashion magazine spreads or old Hollywood films. His eyes are blue and heavy-lidded, and his dark hair is pulled into a low bun at the nape of his neck. A few strands fall across his forehead as he raises one arm to the pole in the middle of the stage, then the other, gripping before twisting his body against it in ways that make Steve’s throat go very dry and his sensible slacks go very tight.
