On the way to St. Rose Academy, a prestigious art school, Ib encounters fellow transfer student Garry at the train-station. They're drawn to each other for reasons they don't understand, especially when strange things begin to happen around them, such as the disappearance of a student who only Ib seems to remember. The more they dig the more everything happening around them seems to be tied to this Gallery and, perhaps, even their own fragmented memories.

Summary
Ib never saw what happened to Garry in the doll room. All she saw was the chilling aftermath when she and Mary found him later, and she was profoundly grateful just to be able to bring him back to himself with a slap and a hug.
Ib thinks no more about it until, lost in the Sketchbook world, she and Garry discover Mary's art gallery. The sight of Mary's painting of the blue doll shakes him to his core, leaving him trembling and scared. Ib doesn't know why, and doesn't know how to help. So she just does the best she can, to be there for the man who's been there for her all this time.
