The world was still quite modest, but there’s enough familiar shapes to make something out. A building with a courtyard in the middle, placed atop a tall hill to protect a man from dangers that one day may return. Dangers he could not let past the gates. It was different when it was just himself he had to watch out for, but two small creations changed that entirely.
