"And how exactly do you, uh..." Jayce watches with only partial focus as Viktor's fingers work to screw the top of the little jar loose. "Plan on tending to your husband?" He chuffs. The downwards lilt to his tone, it's inflection, holds a double meaning: Anticipation, hopefulness for something more than clinical care.
Viktor laughs. It's more of a purr, rich and thick, laced with an eye-roll he doesn't physically give as he dips two fingers into the jar and collects a generous smear of the soothing balm onto their pads.
"Like this." He offers plainly.

Viktor is an omega pretending to be a beta at prestigious Piltover Academy. It had been a dream of his to attend these halls and learn with the greatest minds Runeterra had to offer. While attending the academy's welcome back ball, he meets a dashing alpha. For a moment Viktor believes him to be different until he opens his mouth. He has sworn the man off and vowed to never interact with him. Fate has a funny way though of always working against Viktor.
Jayce is the Lord of House Talis. A small minor house under that of the Kiramman's. The alpha has never really been serious about his duties, instead choosing to continue his education at Piltover Academy each year. Jayce is known and loved by everyone. Well, everyone except the new beta Viktor. With them being partners, he hopes to figure out what he has done to upset the man and also figure out why he cares deeply for him.

“No, dummy. /Viktor/, pay attention.” Iovanna sighs in theatrical exasperation, and points the bread in Jayce’s direction. “You know. Assistant to the dean of the academy? Round-heeled to about every guy on campus?”
“Yes, Viktor, smartest guy in his year, walks with a cane, doesn’t talk much, face so perfect I’m surprised the Neo-Demacian Sculpture Atelier hasn’t chained him to their radiator, what the polite *fuck* does ‘round-heeled’ mean?”
She just presses her palm to her face. “I can’t believe I’m the one breaking this to you. You’re asking to go on a date with the campus slut. And like, that’s an understatement.”
Jayce has had a crush on the aloof upperclassman Viktor for ages. He had no idea he was very, *very* freely available.
