Summary
Another stupid love letter. This was just getting ridiculous. Keith stuffed the thing in his back pocket, grasping his books from their place in the shadowed cavern of his locker, and slamming it shut with a bang. He wasn’t even sure when it had happened. Keith had always been a loner, and that had served him well his first year, but even his steely demeanor was no longer keeping the masses at bay.
Keith made a beeline for the nearest trash can. Crumpling the letter in his hand, he tossed it inside.

Summary
Keith gets bits by a love bug and falls for Lance. Allura gets bit and falls for Hunk. The only problem is that Keith already has a real, overwhelming crush on Lance, so he decides to only do what Allura does so he doesn't give himself away. A plan that rapidly falls apart.

Lance pokes his cheek, right over the Galra mark. Keith blinks.
“I can’t believe you and your mom have matching face tattoos now,” he says, and it’s so fucking dumb, but it’s exactly the kind of dumb thing Keith has longed to hear, and before he knows what he’s doing he’s surging forward, almost knocking Lance back against Red’s paw, and throwing his arms around him.

Summary
Lance staggers, eyes widening as they spread across the rich hues of purple, which blossom like flowers on a vine. White dots splatter against the colorful void, shining brightly, but they're too far away for Lance to feel their warmth. He finds two other dots against the darkscape, larger than the rest yet still hardly noticeable, each separately colored red and blue. Weird. As they catch his attention, for a split second the stars shine brighter before they fade.
His brows knit together. This place is more familiar than the last.
A frown takes his lips, and it's as well-known as the scenery that had shifted around him moments before. Lance was never in Cuba, was he? He was always here, always lost in this void. Always separated from his family with a fine line that’s light-years long.
He chokes on a heavy sigh and remembers that he doesn’t need to breathe. Not here. Not anymore.

Summary
Every time Lance feels like confessing to Keith, he writes a letter with his feelings.
After four months of pent up feelings and a desk with over thirty letters scattered on it’s surface, he still hasn’t given any of them to Keith.After being sent out on a mission on his own, he comes back to a significantly cleaner room.
“Welcome back Lance! ” Coran exclaims right next to his ear, making him jump. “Oh I saw all those letters you had addressed to Keith, saved you the trouble and gave them to him in your stead! You welcome!”

“I just hope my family is okay,” Lance whispers quietly, sighing softly as he rubs stubbornly his right eye. Keith’s face softens, a small smile growing on his lips at Lance’s wishes.
“Lance,” he calls gently, bumping his shoulder against Lance’s to catch his attention. “Lance, they are.”
Keith knows this because he saw them. He saw them chatting and laughing among themselves as he sat in their dining room. He saw them sitting on the front rows of his future-self as he waited patiently on the altar with the ocean behind him.
Keith smiles, happy and confident for the future to come. “Call it a gut feeling.”

"About that," Pidge mumbles and Keith looks up at her, his brows furrowing together when he sees she's looking at Shiro instead, her eyes squinted shut slightly. "There's something you need to know."
"Keith," Shiro starts, his hand back on Keith's shoulders, lips turned down into a pitiful frown. "A lot of things have changed these past three years."

"You guys broke up," Pidge blurts out finally, making Keith snap his head in her direction, his heart rate picking up again. "You broke up a while ago, like... a bit over two years ago."
