To pretend to, at least. You built weird rock robots to make it convincing. You did nothing but lie to me. That's all you ever do. That's all anyone ever fucking does.” He sniffles, refusing to look away even for a second. Refusing to even blink. Everything hurts and aches and burns. This is no better then the Iron Lung.
Grace had become his Iron Lung. his life support. Everything. And he hates it.
After everything, this is still bigger than him, isn't it? ISN'T IT?

Simon wakes up on Erid, and goes through your typical BloodyMary plotline with a teeny tiny twist; the story is told from HIS paranoid, traumatized, and terrified POV. he is also mortified of his body mutations and we get a deep dive on his new found body dysmorphia.
