Steve gritted his teeth and refused to answer. The dragon could very well find that out for himself. He stared at the dragon. The dragon stared back. Then the dragon got up, turned around, and went back into his cave.

“Hello, mi amor,” the wolf growled with a smile as he kissed your forehead, moving his hand from your mouth to your shoulder. You still felt your heart beating a mile a minute as he set the mistletoe on the counter—his ears tilted slightly. “Did I truly scare you so bad?”

It was pitch dark, and you had to use your flashlight to even make it down the stone-block-steps. It was cool, and water had pooled and grown stagnant on the floor. You trod your way up to a shelving unit, glancing over the strange, rotten books and aged knick-knacks that still sat on it. Another photo, more for posterity than artistic value, and you saw something out of the corner of your eye that stopped you dead.
A jar. A bright, silver jar, like an urn, sitting pristine on a side table that almost looked… cared for. It was still covered in dust, but it wasn’t tarnished as silver should have been in such a damp place.

You don't why, but you've been getting the same reoccurring nightmares lately. Your dreams will always dilute to you standing in a pitch-black void, an eerie whistle tune playing out along with a pair of bloody red eyes staring back at you from a distance. As each day passes by, it would progressively get worse. The whistling tune would grow louder and those eyes would get closer and closer until they catch up to you and break you out of your sleep. It gets so bad that you start to hallucinate, swearing you saw those eyes peering at you from the corners of your eyes for a split second before disappearing. You tried everything that you could to stop these nightmares from happening. But, nothing worked.
So, what would happen if you got sleep paralysis from waking up from another nightmare in the middle of the night? And what would happen if your sleep paralysis demon, the one who's been plaguing your head with bad dreams and hallucinations, appear before you as an anthropomorphic wolf? Though, instead of torturing you, they come to you for a different reason entirely...
