Across from him stood a sight most unseemly to Burr; Alexander Hamilton, gun lowered-- smiling, wearily. Burr's hand trembled, looking upon his gun with bewilderment. He wished to aim again, to shoot again, and this time-- this time he would not miss just as he had every intention of doing the first time.

Summary
Through the fragrant smoke, Pure Vanilla could make out the shape of a familiar figure. Shadow Milk, half undressed and treating Pure Vanilla’s eyes to a blurry display of his back— nearly down to his hips, completely bare save for the robe rapidly slipping off his body. Pure Vanilla pulled away, putting an end to his accidental voyeurism. He was sure his cheeks were alight with a flush. Shadow Milk looked to be buried in what was maybe a pile of cushions. Or perhaps blankets? Pure Vanilla hadn’t exactly been paying attention to the fox spirit's surroundings, not that he could make out much, anyway.

Whizzer wants to try and fix things, so he brings back the 36 questions, the same questions they did back when Marvin was still seeing a psychiatrist.
Of course, the first time it was Mendel's Idea. So of course Marvin curses his name for giving Whizzer the idea.
