Summary
The first time Miguel O'Hara met Miles Morales it was because of an experiment gone wrong. He was thrown into the year 2018 of another dimension and stuck there for five months until the first anomaly was created. That's when things started to change, for better and for worse.
Who figured how much of the canon would revolve around Miles? And how far Miguel would go protect him from it?
Or: Miles loved Miguel before he knew he was Spider-Man from another dimension, and he still loved him after. Now... he's not so sure. Things are changing that he cannot wrap his head around.

“I meant,” Miguel says slowly, like he’s trying to find words and yet both his languages are escaping him. Miles knows that feeling completely. “What can I do to help?”
It’s definitely not what Miles was expecting him to say, and the emotional whiplash he goes through from hearing it makes him a little wobbly around the edges. This is the man who body slammed you until your ears bled.
