“You okay?” Ilya asked gently, his accent thick and deep in the hush of the apartment.
“Hmmm?” Shane hummed, flicking his eyes away from the screen to rest on Ilya, his eyelids heavy and his expression soft.
“Bad day?” Ilya asked instead, resting one of his large, warm hands on Shane’s bare foot and rubbing the delicate skin of the arch slowly with his thumb.
“Hmmm,” Shane hummed again, closing his eyes and breathing deeply, “oh, you know…” He wiggled his toes slightly.
