Summary
“It was Lily’s idea,” Tashi says to Patrick’s delighted expression and Art’s unchanged frown. “It’s just a decoration.”
“Yeah, but you have to kiss me if I go under it or it’s bad luck,” Lily reminds her. She turns to reassure Patrick, “Just on the cheek or something. No spreading gross germs.”
“Those are going at Lily’s height,” Art says, coming closer to inspect the rest of their haul. “Right?”
“No,” Lily whines. “It’s for everybody. It’s tradition.”
“What do you mean, it’s tradition?” Patrick says. “You’re five. You don’t have traditions.”
“I actually think we should let Patrick raise her Jewish,” Art says.
December 2019: Art's retired. Tashi's coaching Patrick. Lily's got questions about Santa. What could possibly go wrong?
In other words, the Challengers Christmas (and New Year’s Eve) special.

Summary
Mylo and Claggor would say there’s nothing that scares Vi. She can dish out punches and evade danger better than anyone. She’s their fearless leader, always ready to take them on a job and back without losing anyone. It’s that level of assurance that they have in her, that confidence she exudes, that makes them trust and believe in her.
But they’re wrong. Powder knows there’s something that scares Vi. And that’s because it scares Vander.
Or: Silco reads the letter Vander left in the mines and sticks around as a boogeyman in the Last Drop.

Summary
“You’re not 007,” says the henchman, clad tip-to-toe in black, head cocked in confusion.
“Unfortunately, I am,” says Q. “And believe me, I’m much more put out by it than you are.”
When James Bond goes missing and is presumed dead yet again, the only person MI6 deems suitable to take his place is the man responsible for planning all of his outstanding missions: Q. Entirely against his will, Q finds himself thrown into active service as the new 007. Much to everyone's surprise, not least Q's, he turns out to be a natural. He might even be a better 007 than Bond ever was.
And Bond's not going to stand for that.

Summary
A final sweep of the produce sections of the marketplace was agreed on, and Jayce shuffled onward long-sufferingly as Amaranthine interviewed every last potato, turnip, and cabbage peddler about their religious proclivities and traditions. Jayce’s innocuous produce–observance came to a grinding halt when he nearly shat himself at the sight of Viktor two stalls down, examining beets with a gaggle of dark-haired women who were all clucking at him and tugging on his shirtsleeves. He was wearing his mask, but no armor—a scale of undress Jayce hadn’t seen Viktor don in years. Jayce could just barely hear him, unmistakably bantering with the women in his native Zaunite tongue. The women were of varying ages (though in roughly the same range), and their appearances reflected Viktor’s in terms of dark hair and sloping noses. His sisters, Jayce supposed.
Oh, right, scary dangerous murderer Machine Herald in close proximity to innocent child. Shit. Retreat.
Read: they are dads now. It has not improved their moral compasses.
