Summary
Hawks has slipped back onto his chair in the meantime. Pushed the bottle away from himself in the process, but he’s keeping the still-full shot glass close at hand. Drink in case of emergency. “Bullshit,” he says. “Don’t play coy, it’s unbecoming for a man your age.”
“I don’t want to influence your decision.”
“You don’t want to–” Hawks would ruffle his feathers in sheer irritation if he still had them. “Really? We’re going there?”
There’s only carrots and potatoes left in Mera’s container, roughly chopped and swimming in lukewarm curry. Hawks watches Mera move the remaining pieces around – probably looking for something more interesting.
“Endeavor said yes when I asked last week,” he says at length. There, he’s finally found it: the last bit of eggplant hiding almost forgotten in a corner. “Jeanist too, if it matters. Yesterday.”
Hawks downs the shot.
(Or, the one where Hawks tries to Figure It Out after the war and slowly realises that he doesn't have to do it alone. It's a love story, baby!)

Summary
There are two different outcomes of All For One using the future-seeing Quirk before it becomes too taxing and at the end useless.
In one he enters the coffee shop before Keigo Takami crosses the street dragged by his mother.
In another he pauses before he goes. Damaged goods, he will play with him just a little. It will be amusing to see Hawks raise to the hero number two.

It's been beaten into Enji that heroes don't have soulmates. He's never felt any pain from his soulmate, nor has he ever had any writing show up ... So, he must be one of the lucky few without a soulmate, right?
At least, that's what he thinks until mysterious writing on his arm calls him an idiot one night.

“I’m all aloooone, with nobody besiiide meee – can you turn that TV off? Thanks.”
“I’m told you refused multiple offers.”
“Rumi would take in a dead squirrel,” Hawks huffs, scratching his nose on the pillow, going wsh wsh wsh. “I’m not doing that to her, no way in hell. And the commission wanted to put me into the hero equivalent of a nursing home, so fuck that too.”
When Hawks is abandoned by everyone else, Enji offers to bring him home.

Summary
Ever since the tender age of sixteen, Ignis has gone through all of his heats alone. Too busy to even think about mates (not that there are many eligible ones in the Citadel anyway), Ignis accepts the situation for what it is. But things change when Gladio accidentally discovers his sad excuse for a nest – out of the goodness of his heart, he takes it upon himself to try and make Ignis' next heat a little less lonely.
