Aún recuerda la primera vez que se vieron. Era el segundo exterminio de Alastor como señor supremo; se había sentado a ver la masacre desde su torre cuando lo vio. Era un ángel diferente al resto de los exorcistas: el único hombre entre las filas, de alas doradas, y a diferencia de los demás, que usaban lanzas o espadas, él empuñaba un hacha de oro. Le pareció fascinante cómo, con un simple aleteo de sus alas, logró derribar un edificio entero.
Nunca había sentido atracción por nada más allá del poder, pero en ese momento no pudo negar que aquel ángel era hermoso, un ser de magnificencia pura, y no podía permitir que algo le pasara. Así que, si un tentáculo suyo atravesó el pecho de un mísero pecador que intentó atacar al de alas doradas a traición, nadie lo vio. Eso quedaría entre él y el exorcista que lo miraba con sorpresa.
Supone que era normal; nadie esperaría que un pecador estuviera dispuesto a revelar su escondite para proteger a alguien que, con un solo toque, podía acabar con su existencia. Adám lo miró fijamente, pero antes de que hiciera algo, las campanas sonaron y el día llegó a su fin.
