Summary

On 31st July 1995, Harry Potter disappears from Little Whinging a few minutes after midnight. The means of his departure are unfathomable, and the Order's only relief in their concern is the fact that Voldemort was not responsible.
The rest of Wizarding Britain is too busy tearing down their Wizarding Savior via the press to be much concerned, at least until certain Slytherin allies decide that enough is fucking well enough.

There are seven novel-length fics, plus a prologue (to leap and love the fall) and two longer stories (with courage unyielding and the gentle sunlight). The short story collection to journey on contains shorter stories set within the main timeline. All are posted in the correct reading order.

Could that mean… Is the Hat planning to re-sort two older students? Can it do that?
Hermione’s fairly certain this is a first. Nothing like it is mentioned in Hogwarts, A History, anyway.
The Hat calls out a name. “Theodore Nott!”
She grips Harry’s elbow as her veins turn to ice, an awful sense of dread spreading through her.

Summary
In this world, a fear was given voice that allowing Muggleborns return to their families after they began their education was a danger to the newly enacted Statute of Secrecy and that leaving Muggleborns uneducated was an even bigger danger. Arguments flew from those in favour of infanticide, to infant kidnapping, but cooler, possibly wiser heads prevailed and a law colloquially called Salazar’s Law, for all it was thought of centuries after his death was enacted.
You would think that this would change everything but it doesn’t.
