Izuku startled, yanking his headphones off and snapping the magazine shut like he’d been caught doing something illegal. “K-Kacchan!” he stammered, wide-eyed. “I-I didn’t hear you come in!”
Katsuki’s eyes flicked from the magazine to Izuku’s face, taking in the embarrassed blush. His eyes lingered on the box of tissues now sitting conspicuously on the bed instead of its usual place on the bedside table. So, that’s what you’ve been doing while I was out busting my ass, pervert.
He prowled forward, the teasing grin back in place. “Didn’t hear me, huh? Too busy gawking at my photos like a perverted little fanboy?”
Katsuki has been doing a little modelling on the side to help pay for Izuku's pro-hero suit... but Izuku's overthinking it.

When Izuku closes his book on life as a hero, Katsuki opens another, and etches Izuku's name into the pages, the spine, the seams, the ink, everything.

It will hold their blood, sweat, tears and any other fucking bodily fluid in every stitch and button. It will represent the countless lives saved. It will represent their call to arms. It will tell Izuku I need you, I thought about you every damn second, I kept you with me, I tried to live by your example, I tried to honour your life, I tried to think of the only way you would want it, the only way you couldn't say no.
That’s what’s going to make the difference.
Katsuki will find the money. That’s not the problem. Everything else is.
