Summary
Taehyung thinks often about two things:
Oftentimes—maybe too often now, considering how long they’ve been together now—Taehyung thinks about how up to fucking chance it was, meeting the most important person in his life.
The second thing Taehyung considers—maybe too many times in his daily adult life—is how there is no good way to work wax completely out of bedsheets or carpet.

Summary
There are times when Jimin lays awake at night and unable to sleep, so instead he stares at the way the moonlight drapes over the body in front of him. There’s hardly an arm’s length between them, and if he were to shift under the sheets then their legs would slot together in a soft tangle of silk and skin. He traces the shadows cast by Taehyung’s lashes against the tissue-thin skin of his undereyes, watches the tiniest shift of when them his lids move as he dreams. When his fingers twitch and uncurl slightly where his hand is settled between their heads, Jimin takes them into his and brushes whisper-soft kisses along his knuckles. He tucks Taehyung’s hand against the space carved out for it between his jaw and his neck, and wonders just how much of himself is his own anymore with the other buried so far under his skin.

Summary
“You deserve a vacation,” Seokjin declared without preamble as he lowered a lump of sugar into his rose-china cup. “At this point after three months I expect you’re almost as crazed as Taehyung. Frankly, I’m a little surprised you haven’t tried to kill him yet.”
And that was—well. That was it, wasn’t it? Something that had been prickling at the back of his mind perhaps the entire time he’d been here. It was that, deep down, he found that he didn’t exactly mind the company, didn’t really mind the place he spent most of his days picking through like a refined sort of archaeologist.Or; the season where Jimin's idle hands are filled with entirely more than he bargained for.

Summary
Halfway across the room, practically framed by the curled bodies of Cupid and Psyche in the Reynolds behind him, is the spitting image of Park Jimin.
Taehyung takes his first steps towards the other while he remains stock-still. They echo in the half-empty hall just fifteen minutes shy of closing, one by one until he stands alongside the other gazing up at the painting.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been followed quite so intensely,” he comments, low and quiet but with enough dismissal for the weather. “Especially being able to notice it.”

Summary
His legs carry him down hallways that should feel warm in their sunlit haze but don’t, through barer stone corridors that should feel cool but don’t. His awareness has shrunk like a pinprick to the throb of his deadened pulse that he can feel all the way into his aching teeth, the need burning so bright through every part of him that even his eyes sting hot. Jimin presses his forehead against the polished wood door in front of him, grips the brass handle so hard his fingers threaten to pop. At the soft contented sigh and susurration of movement just beyond the door, he pushes it open without waiting.
The first thing he lays eyes on is Taehyung.

Summary
He hears a short scoff that devolves into half a laugh. It’s not a kind one, either, more disbelieving than anything else. “Can you please move? And maybe stop wasting time while you’re at it?”
At that, Jimin straightens up and has to swallow the last couple shards of mint in his mouth to keep anything else from coming out. He steps out from in front of the dressing mirror and turns around, just so he can properly make sure this guy’s head isn’t actually shoved up his own ass the way he’s acting like it is.
And amidst the hot tangle of his pissed off thoughts, there’s a special utterance of fuck.
Because Hoseok is right.
He’s cute cute.Taehyung has a face that Jimin feels compelled to beat in more than one way.

Summary
It’s an open secret between the two of them and no one else, that Seokjin only pretends not to be as bad as Jimin the same way Jimin is fascinated with playacting as good and refined as Seokjin.
I wouldn't lie to you, blossom, won't you let it go?
I’m gonna give you what you want, and don't you know? -

Summary
Jimin picks his work carefully, spends weeks or even months looking into things himself before even bringing it up to Taehyung. But Taehyung’s other clients probably don’t afford the same sort of… courtesy. They play fast and loose with his safety like the amount of zeroes in the wire transfer compensates for the proportional danger. And Jimin knows Taehyung is just as complicit because he’s the one that accepts the jobs, is the one that was doing this work long before Jimin met him even at twenty-six, but it’s easier to blame someone else that’s faceless and more unscrupulous for the worst sleepless nights he gets.
Jimin knows that at one point he’d hired Taehyung for his discretion. But now that discretion has started to chafe on the best nights, and disappear entirely on the worst.
This one is not off to an excellent start.
