"Th-Tha-That-That’s… not-" It trails off, and suddenly it seems to shrink, fear radiating off of it in waves of unknowable colors and unthinkable patterns, and if Jon wasn't so scared for his own life, he'd be fascinated with it's response.
"Oh. Oh no." Before Jon can open his mouth to ask what, exactly, Michael has realized, it's entire form shatters. He only has a second to register the vaguely humanoid mess of fractals and shifting, impossible shapes and colors, before Michael screams.

He leans in to kiss Cecil's sharp mouth, and lets the kiss and their hands soothe him, relax him, ease him back into this moment. He breaks the kiss and turns his face into their palm, then curls his head so that their fingers slide into his hair.

There are certain assumptions that one makes about a person, based on their outward, clothes-on appearance. Which means that Martin gets...a bit of a surprise, the first time he sees Jon stretch himself up to reach something on a high shelf. Specifically, he's surprised when Jon’s shirt comes untucked, and instead of the flat plane of abdomen that Martin would have expected, a small roll of fat peeks out over his waistband, escaping where it must have been pinned down by the rigid line of his belt.
And then Martin has to leave the room and go find somewhere he can stand with his hand pressed over his mouth for a while.
That was. That was? That was...
