Summary

Summary
When Horus was born, it was obvious he loved his uncle. However, they didn't expect Horus to continue escaping his crib, cry when he's taken away, and even sticking to Seth's leg. As Horus continued grow, so did his love for his uncle. Isis is angry that her son loves his uncle more then his own mother and Osiris sees this as an opportunity.

Mama’s lips press together, but Papa smiles. “It’s fine, Faranak. The Akasha has a fully public entry on both…conditions. He may as well learn about it now.” Papa takes the clip from Mama, turning it over in his fingers, then looks at Kaveh. “Most countries call rakshak ‘Sentinels.’ You might say they’re the opposite of Guides.”
“Bad?” Kaveh asks warily.
Both his parents laugh. “No, no, sweetheart. I would say they’re more counterparts than opposites—here, let me bring it up,” adds Mama.

Kaveh is a Guide, like his father. Alhaitham, a Sentinel not quite like anyone else. Born into a Land of Wisdom that cares little for those gifts, they must explore old hurts, find their way with or without each other...and have the courage to face their own reflection.
