“A thing?”
Jimmy nods.
“Alright, go on.”
“It’s for — for usin’. On yourself — or, well, I got it for usin’ on meself. ‘S not actually what it’s for, an’ now it’s…stuck.”
“Stuck?” Thomas coaxes, still looking rather bewildered. Jimmy wants to die, and his face is already so hot, heart pounding so hard against his ribs, he half expects the universe to grant his wish over putting him through this ordeal.
“Up me,” Jimmy grinds out, jaw aching.
Jimmy gets a toy stuck inside of himself. Rather conveniently, Thomas is the only one with any medical know-how in the house, so he has no choice but to go to him for help. (A.k.a. Thomas sticks his fingers up Jimmy's arse out of the goodness of his heart.)

“You need to stop,” Thomas warns.
“An’ what if I don’t?” Jimmy argues, looking a little wild around the eyes.
“I see what you’re doing, you know.”
Jimmy licks his lips and bares too many of his teeth when he smiles. “An’ what’s that?”
“You’re being a coward,” Thomas tells him honestly, and shock flits across Jimmy’s face before his expression shutters. He tries to shove Thomas back, but Thomas uses the full advantage of their disparity in size, not letting him budge. “C’mon, Jimmy, push me off if I’m not a real man,” he cajoles, not a little spiteful. “Oughtta be easy for a proper bloke like you, right? A real man’s man.”
Drunk to the point of belligerence, Jimmy starts kicking off at the pub and Thomas has to drag him home. Things get messy on the way back to Downton, in more ways than one.
