Summary
After being violently assaulted by his ex boyfriend, Hammond is still dealing with the trauma of the assault and keeping it a secret from everyone around him. At his therapists suggestion, he has started to write about his experiences and putting his thoughts and feelings to music. Someone in the sound team is helping him with that. It’s cathartic. It’s helping.
James and Jeremy don’t know any of that. What they do know is that they’ve stumbled across an artist that they enjoy the sound of and that every time they play his music around Hammond he looks sick to his stomach. They find that amusing, and make a fun little game of playing the songs to annoy him. Hammond doesn’t know how to tell them the truth of why he doesn’t want them to listen to the songs without outing himself as the writer or revealing the truth of the reason he started to write them in the first place.
