Summary
Of course she had to read LadyNoir fanfiction if she wanted to bond with her crush over his writing.
Of course she read it.
She wasn't sure what she was expecting, but story after story of angst and hurt/comfort wasn't it. If anything, Adrien seemed like someone who would stick to fluff and not handle anything darker. But nope! Instead of sappy love confessions and dramatic proposals, Marinette was treated to over 100,000 words of breakdowns, self-doubt, anxiety, and, if she was lucky, a bit of emotional hurt/comfort as a treat.

Rule one: Don't create a secret AO3 account, write fanfiction about your best friend and superhero partner, and then use actual quotes from said partner in your fanfiction.
It's a mistake you only make once.

"Yes, that sounds like something that would kill your average Marinette," said Alya to Adrien and Kagami. "Maybe you should have hesitated a bit before suggesting that she'd choose between you two with a kissing contest."

Summary
Marinette plopped down in her seat, groaning. “Today has been just peachy.”
“Sorry Princess, I didn’t mean to burst in like that.” Chat gave a small smile as he passed her a bandage. “I guess… I was distracted.”
“Yeah I can tell something’s on your mind. You’ve spoken like ten sentences and not one of them had a cat pun.” she joked lightly.
He shoved a hand through his hair. “I’m proposing tomorrow.” he whispered.

Summary
“Ch-chat. Chat!” She called out for her partner. She needed her partner. He always knew what to do when she was freaking out, and she was very much freaking out right now. She tried to get up, to get to the window and flag him down, to do something, but Mme. Bustier’s gentle yet firm hands prevented her from moving from her spot on the floor.
“Marinette,” Mme. Bustier’s voice was firm, and it shocked Marinette enough to finally meet her teacher’s eyes. “You need to stay here—keep pressure on your injury.” She explained gently.
Marinette gasped a breath, “I-I need Chat,” she whispered.

Identity reveals, injured Marinette, Protective Chat Noir, hurt/comfort, swapped miraculous, and Mme. Bustier in the wrong room at the right time.

Oh god.
