If a ghost dies in childhood, they cand grow up till 18. Ghosts stay on earth until everyone who remembers them in life dies. Suddenly all ghosts can be scene.
when people could see a ghost, before everyone could see all ghosts, then that ghost both reflects the person who sees them mental state and doesn't at the same time, it gets you to say and do things you would never do otherwise. Acting as a hallucination.
Now that everyone can see ghosts, the ghost acts/behaves like themselves without the influence of the person who used to see them.
Now all of the Goodman’s can see Gabe, and they all freak out (except Diana, who has always seen him). Gabe starts to get to know everyone. Slowly Gabe explains everything, but he fears the reactions of his family for what hes inadverntenty caused -
