In the end, she takes refuge in a soldier's blunt language, just as she has always done. "I'm dying," she says to Odo.
He doesn't look surprised. He nods.
"I've got Grev-Lal's Syndrome," she continues. "It's a neurodegenerative disease, with no known cure. Over the next one to three years, my mind will deteriorate until I don't know who I am anymore. Until I cannot move, or speak. Eventually, even the automatic functions will shut down." Odo's only response is to wrap himself around her even tighter. She thinks whimsically that he must feel stretched-out, like a spring. That maybe this feels even stranger to him than it does to her.
"Odo," she says, and pulls back so that she can look him in the eyes. "I'm here to ask if you will help me die."

Summary
The night Dean kicks him out of the bunker, Castiel has to find shelter from the rain. But he unwittingly stumbles across a monster’s lair and is caught…and as far as he knows, no one’s looking for him. Meanwhile, Sam's not buying Dean's story about why Cas left, and he won't be satisfied until he finds some answers. Assuming the ex-angel lasts that long.

Sam is tired of Dean and Cas not communicating--especially when their fighting almost causes Dean to run them off the road during the events of 12x10. So, he comes up with a plan. Lately, the internet has been buzzing about this list of 36 questions that are supposed to help foster understanding between partners--and OK, some articles were calling it '36 Questions That Lead to Love'--but that's not the goal, just a potentially nice side effect. That is if he can get the hunter and angel to play along in the first place.
