Summary
The year is 2013, and John Walker and Lemar Hoskins are on a special operation when it goes wrong, and they run into the Winter Soldier, AKA Bucky Barnes, AKA John's childhood idol. After that, they de-brainwash him, take down Hydra, go after the Red Room, start their own superhero team, and confuse the shit out of the Avengers. Not in any particular order.

There are times, looking back, Dick had an inkling, a detective’s instinct, but he never acted upon it.
He never really questioned it, never thought much of his father’s life when Bruce Wayne wasn’t in Gotham. He was the CEO for an international corporation. Of course, he was going to fly around the world, meet different people, be gone for weeks at a time, have a life outside of the one he had with Dick.
Dick just never thought his father was Batman.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Damian isn't a fool; he had heard the saying before. However, he never would have expected it to apply to such a strange set of circumstances.
Damian remembers dying. Or rather, he thinks he died. There had been a fight, then an explosion, and then nothingness. Except he opened his eyes to Gotham, although not a Gotham he recognized.

Or, Damian died. He woke up in a new dimension without the Batfam or Justice League. The adults from his timeline haven't been born yet and the ages of all his siblings are backwards. Damian becomes Gotham's first vigilante, Gray Ghost.

Summary
Damian never wanted brothers. To him, they were just symbols of his inadequacies, the never ending flaws in his and Bruce's relationship. But after Jason's death, Damian realizes that he cares for the interlopers more than he knew. It's too late for him to save Jason, but maybe he can save the young orphan who witnessed the murder of his parents.
Aka when you convince your dad to adopt the circus kid who keeps following you because you're guilt-ridden over your adoptive brother's death
