Summary
Shoto Todoroki had one rule: never use his left side. It was his father's quirk, his father's legacy, his father's goddamn obsession forged into flesh and bone. Using it meant surrender. Using it meant Endeavor won. So Shoto built himself out of ice and spite, froze his heart solid, and told himself he didn't need anyone — not his broken mother, not his dead brother's ghost, not the classmates who kept trying to reach him like he was some kind of rescue project.
Except Izuku never got the chance to shatter his walls at the Sports Festival. That conversation? Never happened. That catharsis? Gone. And without it, Shoto doesn't thaw — he hardens. He doubles down. He takes his trauma and weaponizes it, turning every fight into a cold, calculated "fuck you" aimed directly at the man who made him.
